The Millionaire Project was started by a Millennial sick of seeing financial prospects for young people dwindle. Our founder was raised by a single, working class mother and entered the job market during the height of the Great Recession. Since then, wealth inequality has only gotten worse.

The idea of donating just $1 dollar began as a fun experiment for friends and family to earn “beer money” each week. After awhile, the true potential of this model became clear.

Small donations really can make a big impact. Enough people donating just $1 dollar can permanently change someone’s life. Not just once or twice. Together we have the power to create hundreds of new millionaires.

The more wealth we can concentrate among the bottom earners in society, the more resources they have to make their voices heard—and the more equitable our society will become.
